"In July, 2021, my father passed, and I inherited a townhome in Fox Lake that I could not afford to keep. At the time, Keller Williams, specifically Michael Thurman, was helping me try to find a townhouse in Indiana. Without missing a beat, Michael went from buyer to seller. He inspected the property and made several suggestions on how to improve it for sale. He helped me hire a professional photographer and even found contractors in Fox Lake to help make the necessary repairs to satisfy the Home Owners’ Association. There were a couple of shady buyers looking to take advantage of the situation with ridiculously low underbids or repair demands, and Michael took the time to handle them and explain things to me. He was almost always available whenever I called, and I never had to wait more than half an hour for him to return my call when he wasn’t available. I also inherited my childhood home. It needs a lot of work; it’s over 105 years old, so my Indiana plans are put on hold. When it is fixed up and finished, and if I feel like selling it, I have no hesitation or reservation about what agent I am going to use."
